For years, most of my training took place in a commercial gym. I would arrive, put my headphones on, complete my workout and leave. I enjoyed exercising, but it often felt like something I had to do entirely by myself.
Then a friend invited me to train at a different gym.
I was nervous walking in for the first time, but the atmosphere immediately felt different. People knew each other, trained together and offered encouragement when someone was struggling.
For the first time, I felt part of a fitness community.
Having people around me helped me stay consistent and improve my fitness. It was also brilliant for my mental health. On days when my motivation was low, knowing that others expected me to turn up gave me the push I needed.
It taught me that progress isn’t only about having the perfect workout or nutrition plan. The people around you can make a huge difference too.
That is why community is an important part of GLP Approach.
A GLP-1 journey can sometimes feel lonely, particularly when the people around you don’t fully understand what you’re experiencing. Our private member community gives you somewhere to connect with people on a similar journey, share your progress and support one another through difficult days and successes.
You’ll still receive your personalised plan and direct support from your coach—but you won’t have to do it alone.
From my own experience, the right community can completely change how you feel about fitness. That is the supportive environment we want every GLP Approach member to experience.
